What to See on Pub Street & Kandal Village
Pub Street
Running from the Red Piano Restaurant to the Banana Leaf Restaurant, Pub Street packs roughly 100 bars, restaurants, massage parlours and shops into about a kilometre — loud, bright, and aimed squarely at a good time. Two parallel alleys, The Lane to the north and The Passage to the south, extend the scene with a slightly different crowd and menu.
Kandal Village
A few minutes’ walk from the main strip, Kandal Village is Pub Street’s quieter, more design-led counterpart — boutique cafés, small galleries, and a handful of craft cocktail bars that draw a slightly older, less backpacker-heavy crowd.
Old Market
Both areas sit beside the Old Market (Psar Chas), making it easy to combine an evening here with dinner, shopping, and a walk through the market’s night-market strip.
How to Get to Pub Street
Pub Street is in central Siem Reap, immediately beside the Old Market.
