What to Expect at Camping Park

Comfortable Camping

Camping Park takes the tent aesthetic and adds the parts most people secretly want: set-up accommodation, a proper restaurant, a coffee shop, and a “tree bar” built into the canopy. Evenings centre on campfires — the valley’s elevation on Kirirom’s flank makes December and January nights genuinely cold by Cambodian standards.

The Valley Setting

The resort faces the forested valley edge of Kirirom National Park in Chambok commune. Mornings mean mist over the treeline and birdsong; the park’s pine plateau, waterfalls and viewpoints are a short drive up the mountain road.

Next Door: the Off-Road Park

VET Group’s off-road driving park sits beside the resort, so a stay can swing between extremes — buggy tracks in the afternoon, coffee in the trees at sunset.

How to Get There

Camping Park is in Chambok commune, Phnom Sruoch district, Kampong Speu — about 78km / roughly 2 hours from Phnom Penh via National Road 4.

  • By car: Marked turn-off from NR4 towards Kirirom; the resort is signposted from there
  • Book ahead: Phone or the VET Group website — weekend capacity goes fast in the cool season

Practical Tips

  • Pack a genuinely warm layer for December–January nights; guests are routinely caught out
  • Weekends are lively and social; weekdays near-silent
  • Use it as a base: Chambok’s waterfall, the Kirirom plateau and the off-road park all sit within a short drive

Nearby Attractions

  • VET Off Road Park — buggy and off-road tracks next door
  • Kirirom National Park — the pine plateau up the road
  • Chambok Community Ecotourism Site — community-run waterfall trails at the park’s edge
